When Gargoyles “Go Stone”

I haven’t had much time to post lately because I’ve been busy finishing up Chaos’s story, but I recently received an email asking asking how heavy gargoyles are when they’re in their stone forms.

Although the material they’re made of is incredibly dense, it’s also light so gargoyles aren’t any heavier in their stone forms than they are in their living forms. And in their living forms, their bones are lighter than a human’s so even though they’re carrying a set of wings, complete with long flexible spines, they don’t weigh any more than a human male of the same height and build.

Chaos’s story is almost finished and I hope to post a few snippets here before it’s published!
